Kents Cavern is one of the most important Stone Age sites in Europe and one of Britain\’s best showcaves.
Kents Cavern in Torquay, Devon is an award winning prehistoric cave system with an extensive labyrinth of spectacular and easily accessible caverns. The cave has a remarkable record of ancient human occupation stretching back over 500,000 years. Its’ most important artefact is a human jawbone dated at 41,000 years old; Britain’s oldest human bone.
